The solution:

		An image management system with fast, easy searching saving time, manpower and delivering greater efficiency
		The ‘original’ and irreplaceable hard copy images are now digitised and stored which protects them from human handling and prevents further deterioration
		Use of ‘free text’ rather than ‘key word’ searching provides concise, descriptive and flexible searches giving targeted results. This means less time wasted locating images with more time available to focus on value-added tasks
		The images are selected by the user and delivered in their chosen format (CD, ISDN, email, etc) providing easy delivery to third parties or other users
		The solution is web and Mac based which allows easy finding and delivery of images from any RNLI office
