AMMOS is the most flexible, scalable and secure multimedia Digital Asset Management solution currently available. 

AMMOS can store, retrieve, distribute and manage any number of digital assets, in any format. 

It maintains the relationships between millions of assets - irrespective of whether they are stored as text, images, graphics, advertisements, documents, web pages or publications.

When an asset is first presented on screen, the user can see all relevant information, for example a thumbnail image, copyright details, image quality and links to other related assets.

With AMMOS, all assets are indexed in a powerful free-text database.  The search facility allows the user to find the appropriate assets using a wide range of search tools which can be made as sophisticated or as simple as the customer requires.

Indeed, many aspects of AMMOS can be configured and customised for each customer's unique needs.  Workflow efficiency tools, for example, ease AMMOS integration into existing systems. 

The customer can specify how new material is loaded into the database from client applications and the server.  Similarly, the input of new material can be scheduled from internal and external sources. 

If desired, new digital assets can be loaded, indexed and linked to existing objects automatically.  Furthermore, AMMOS facilitates the transfer of assets to other applications such as Quark and PhotoShop.

AMMOS is scalable and resilient thanks to its underlying architecture.  The database and asset store of AMMOS are managed independently which means that asset library can be split across servers and stored over different storage systems and storage media.   The proven capacity of AMMOS is measured in millions of digital assets.

The user-defined security controls of AMMOS ensure that access to particular assets and functions is only granted to authorised users. This is especially important for customers implementing an e-DAM solution.

AMMOS runs on UNIX, Linux and NT servers and can be accessed by native PC and Mac client applications or via a standard Web browser.
